It feels great being home. But it was definitely better in Ubin. Obs was great! :D

Alright I'm kinda lazy to blog everything, what we did. But Columbus was great great great! Watch mates were Addy, Amira, Swee Chen, Liyana, Xing Juan, Zarifah, Ainslee, Anne, Pei Zheng, Debbie, Crystal, Celine and Joey. Well in the first place, I knew no one in the watch, Columbus, except for Addy and Juanita. Zippy, our instructor, was definitely the most hyper person I've ever seen/met. She makes us go high all the time. Super (:

First day was more on technical stuffs and the bondings. Learnt how to belay, pitch tents and cook our dinner. Most importantly, we learnt how to trust each other :D Second day, we kayaked a short distance to Camp 1 (where our dinner & supper were served. HAHA). There, we rock climbed, and prepared ourselves for the sea expedition on the following day. So yeah, third day was kayaking to an ulu place. Reached destination late, therefore pitch tent & dinner was in the dark. Fourth day was trekking back to Camp 2. Was tiring, yes, but it was definitely worth all our sweat. We totally bonded together as a watch. Yeah, we had a lot of fun :D

Fifth day was sad. I started whining and whining about how much I badly wanted to stay there. Tsk man. Okay anyway it was packing and packing and packing. Then we had our last circle. That was when we were given our photos and certs. That was also when people started crying. That was when we gave Zippy our letters that were folded into hearts, and on each heart, there was a letter which then results a sentence "WE LOVE YOU ALOT ZIPPY". She was really holding back her tears, I promise.
We had to give our final speech about our highest and lowest point, and what we're bringing back home with us. We held on to the twine, and in the end, Zippy told us how this had to come to an end. She started cutting the twine up, separating all of us into individuals, instead of a watch, that was tied together by experience worth going through.

Zippy, she gave me motivation to really make good use of the rest of my life. Perseverance, it'll bring us a long way. Right now, I'm gonna chase my dreams. I'm never gonna give up, and I'm gonna appreciate everything more than ever. I want to be a doctor, and I'm gonna work hard for it. I will. Cause there are belayers always there behind me. I'm never alone. And when I turn around and look behind, there they are supporting me all the way.

I love you alot
